New Feature: Clear Bosses Without Combat

In Death Stranding 2: On The Beach (DS2), players can now progress past boss encounters without engaging in combat. This was revealed by DS2 Director Hideo Kojima during the latest episode of Koji Pro radio broadcasts on April 14. This feature is designed to assist players who may find boss fights challenging.

Kojima detailed that upon failing a boss fight, players can opt to press "continue" on the game over screen. This choice will bypass the combat and instead present the battle's narrative through images and text, akin to a visual novel. This approach ensures that players can still experience the story's progression without the need for combat.

Death Stranding 2 Nears Completion at 95%

Hideo Kojima announced that DS2 is currently 95% complete. He likened the development stage to "10 o’clock (PM)" on a 24-hour clock, indicating that only a couple of hours remain before the game is fully ready.

DS2 is set to continue directly from where the original game left off. At last month's South by South West (SXSW) event, Kojima Productions and Sony unveiled a 10-minute trailer that provided insights into DS2’s narrative and introduced new characters, sparking excitement among fans.
