Fortnite's thrilling Limited Time Mode, The Getaway, is back! Initially introduced in Chapter 1 Season 5 and making a triumphant return in Chapter 6 Season 2, this heist-style mode offers a fast-paced, competitive experience.

Playing The Getaway in Fortnite

Joining the action is easy. Launch Fortnite, head to the Lobby, and select "Discover." Find The Getaway and hit "Play" to queue up. Alternatively, use the search bar in the top-left corner of the Lobby and type "The Getaway."

What Is The Getaway?

The Getaway challenges players to locate a jewel, secure it, and escape with a Getaway Van. This PvP mode pits you against other teams vying for the same prize. The first three teams to successfully escape with a jewel win, but eliminating opponents along the way also contributes to victory. This time around, enjoy The Getaway in Zero Build mode (perfect for those who prefer less building), and choose your preferred squad size: Duos, Squads, Unranked, or Ranked.

The Getaway Start and End Dates

The Getaway is currently live in Fortnite, but this high-octane adventure concludes on April 1st at 12:00 AM Eastern Time. Don't miss out! Playing The Getaway also earns you valuable XP towards your Battle Pass progression.
