All Hidden and Secret Achievements in Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds features 12 secret achievements. Seven are linked to main story progression and unlock naturally through gameplay. The remaining five require completing specific optional tasks, as outlined below:

Some achievements are straightforward, while others require specific strategies. Detailed steps for each are provided below.

I Caught a Shooting Star!

Visit Zone 11 of the Windward Plains at night with screamer pods prepared. Spot a Baunos near gathering points, fire screamer pods at it, and use the Capture Net to catch it.

A Prize Held High

This can be achieved on most maps by exploring narrow paths or dead ends. In Zone 6 of the Scarlet Forest, locate a small water puddle and use the Capture Net to catch the golden crab.

When near a creature with an Ancient Wyvern Coin, Alma often comments, hinting at the creature holding something valuable.

A Legacy Restored

Upon reaching High Rank missions, begin crafting Artian gear. To obtain Rarity 8 weapons and materials, hunt Tempered monsters while equipped with Rarity 7 gear.

Seasoned Hunter

Distinguish Tempered monsters, marked purple on the minimap, from Frenzied monsters, which appear red. Defeating or capturing Tempered monsters counts toward this achievement.
