(c) SentientBamboo HoYoverse总裁刘伟最近谈到了严厉的玩家反馈给《原神》开发团队带来的“焦虑和困惑”。在上海最近的一次活动中，刘伟在玩家不满情绪日益高涨的动荡时期发表了上述评论，尤其是在2024年春节和随后的更新期间。在YouTube频道SentientBamboo录制并翻译的演讲中，刘伟表达了玩家的强烈批评对团队的深远负面影响。“过去一年，原神团队和我本人经历了很多焦虑和困惑，”他说。“我们确实感觉经历了一段非常艰难的时期。我们听到了很多声音，其中一些非常尖锐，导致整个项目团队感觉非常无用。”
许多玩家表达了他们对与HoYoverse的其他游戏（如《崩坏：星穹铁道》）相比，《原神》更新缺乏令人兴奋和足够内容的挫败感，导致大量负面评价和强烈反弹。另一方面，《呜咽的波浪》这款Kuro Games最新的RPG游戏也成为玩家争议的焦点，批评主要针对两款游戏的游戏玩法和角色移动选项之间的差异。
