Gamers are \"Less Accepting\" of Buggy Releases, Publisher Learns
Paradox Interactive吸取教训，调整游戏发布策略
Paradox Interactive公司在《生活模拟器：你的人生》(Life By You)取消和《城市：天际线2》(Cities: Skylines 2)灾难性发布后，解释了其未来发展方向以及从玩家反馈中获得的经验教训。
玩家期望值提升，部分技术问题难以解决
Paradox Interactive首席执行官Mattias Lilja和首席内容官Henrik Fahraeus评论了玩家对游戏发布的态度。他们表示，玩家的期望值更高，对游戏发行后开发者修复问题的信心也下降了。
《城市：天际线2》去年发布后问题重重，引发玩家强烈反弹，迫使发行商和开发商Colossal Order公开道歉并承诺举行“玩家反馈峰会”。 发行商表示，他们正在更加细致地解决游戏中发现的问题，并认为玩家需要更早地接触游戏以提供反馈，帮助改进开发。“如果我们能邀请更多玩家进行大规模测试，情况就会好很多，”Fahraeus谈到《城市：天际线2》时说道，并补充说他们希望在游戏发布前“与玩家进行更广泛的沟通”。
正因如此，Paradox决定无限期推迟其监狱管理模拟器《监狱建筑师2》(Prison Architect 2)的发布。“我们非常相信《监狱建筑师2》的游戏性很好，”Lilja说。“但我们遇到了质量问题，这意味着为了给玩家提供他们应得的游戏，我们决定推迟发布。” 至于《生活模拟器：你的人生》的取消，是因为他们未能达到预期的目标，Lilja解释说，无限期推迟的原因是他们“无法保持预期的进度”。

Lilja表示，《监狱建筑师2》的问题主要是一些技术问题，而不是设计问题。“更多的是我们如何才能使它的技术质量足够高，以确保稳定发布。”他补充道：“这也基于这样一个事实，即我们坦率地看到，现在预算紧张的玩家对游戏的期望更高，而且他们更不能接受你慢慢修复问题。”
首席执行官表示，在游戏行业这种“赢家通吃”的环境中，玩家很可能会很快放弃“大多数游戏”。他补充道：“尤其是在过去两年里，这种情况更为明显。至少这是我们从我们的游戏中，以及市场上的其他游戏中读到的。”
《城市：天际线2》的首个付费DLC也因发布时的重大性能问题而被推迟。 而《生活模拟器：你的人生》则在今年早些时候被取消，因为他们最终认为进一步开发该游戏无法达到Paradox及其玩家社区的标准。不过，Lilja后来解释说，他们面临的一些问题是他们“并没有完全理解”的问题，“这完全是我们的责任，”他补充道。
