This not only protects players from its 10-second attack but also safeguards teammates from accidentally triggering the duck's monstrous form. Adding a kick button might sound simple, but it involves server coding, a new area for us." Since its February release, REPO has drawn comparisons to the popular online co-op horror game, Lethal Company. On March 15th, Lethal Company creator Zeekers shared his thoughts on Twitter (X), offering constructive criticism and suggestions for improvement.

He praised the game's unique aspects, stating, "REPO is fun. At first I thought I didn't like it since I felt so slow (and voice chat range is too small!) But everyone in the group working together to move a grand piano through a cramped old mansion without scraping it—that is like the most funny objective for a horror game."

He continued, offering specific recommendations: "#1. Voice chat range needs increased, and the muffling is too much. #2. The levels with vast open space don't suit the game's design very well (similarly to Phasmophobia); it shines most in the cramped mansion layout."

Addressing concerns about enemies' silent approach, Zeekers added, "Yeah, there also needs to be an in-game way to learn about how enemies work, but I'm sure they're planning that."
